In 1960 two electricians formed R & B Star Electrical Wholesalers to give the level of service they required as contractors.
From small beginnings larger things have grown and are continuing to grow. Now, firmly established as one of the leading electrical wholesalers in the area, we have become a company to be reckoned with.
The formula for this progress is very simple. R & B Star employ only professional people to do a professional job, and keep in touch with the latest products and materials. All staff are trained in customer care and meet regularly to discuss ways of improving all aspects of service.
The staff are aided and abetted in their endeavors by a large computer system that, unlike many, actually works for them. This is made possible by a programmer / systems analyst being one of the Directors of the company. He is continually available to fine tune and write programs as the need arises.
The branches are in constant communication with one another via land lines allowing the main computer to be continually updated and in turn passing the latest information back to the branches. Our prices are electronically checked and adjusted by Trade Service Information (formerly Luckins), thus ensuring we always charge you the correct price. You can also have your advice note priced if you wish.
The most important part of the company is our staff. Although the staff at R & B Star are proud of the fact they are known for their friendly and helpful attitude, one thing all at R & B Star know is that without you as a customer we would not be in business. Therefore we all promise to give you, the customer, our very best attention at all times.
To improve our service further we have recently added an in house Lighting Design department along with our heating and ventilation service.
